Chicano Sol Farm

Chicano Sol Farm is a first-generation family farm run by Agustin and Jarrah Salazar Cernas located in Blain, PA. We strive to produce high-quality, nutrient-dense foods while maintaining the land in a fertile state for future generations. Our farm is Certified Organic, the gold standard of sustainable and clean farming. You can trust that all our food is grown with the utmost care – chemical- and pesticide-free, good for you, and good for the soil.

What we love most about farming is the life it provides our family.  Farming is a lifestyle, one you must be absolutely passionate about to be able to succeed at long term, but it’s no doubt the most rewarding lifestyle I can offer myself and my family! 

We love the connection with our eaters. We’ve watched families come together, have children, and are even starting to employ some of those children. As a farmer, being able to know the lives we touch and those same lives touch us right back by supporting us week in and week out.  Farming is about community and there’s no better community than our local community.
